2011 PennApic Picnic


A water balloon contest, honey tasting contest, the best honey contest, a plant swap, enough door prizes that everyone got one, a pig roast, a Friday evening barbecue with plenty of drinks, beekeeper of the year awards, a nature trail presentation by Beth Kepley of Pinchot State Park, a hay loft swing for the kids, more food than we could eat in two days, and some of the best bee conversations of the year. That is some of what attendees took part in. A great day for all involved.
